Dr. Zoidberg - Futurama
This piece was built for a Halloween party where it was dissected to reveal a platter inside. EPS foam was glued up and the shape was roughed out with a chainsaw and Sawzall. It was then further refined with horse brush and sandpaper. It was spackled, sanded again, and coated with multiple coats of Smooth Cast 65D by brush. This made the center sturdy enough to hollow out and keep its shape. Finally, it was painted and airbrushed.
