Bomb Forge
This piece started as a tall propane tank that was the perfect size for a forge body. A ribbon burner was fabricated from steel, and all necessary pipe fittings were bought. The stand was fabricated from steel and found parts. The entire forge body was lined with fire wool and refractory cement. Airflow is created with a blower. This air mixes with propane and burns through the many holes in the ribbon burner. This creates a very even heating.
